Robotics for Kids: This course will show you how to use your Arduino to control a robot, You’ll learn Arduino basics as well as the characteristics of different types of motors used in robotics.

  • Introduction to the Arduino and other components needed for robotics
  • Learn how to build motor controllers
  • Robotics Projects: Light Following, Obstacle Avoiding, Digital Dice, Digital Thermometer, LED Distance Indicator and Pong Game.

What is Robotics?
Robotics is an interdisciplinary branch of computer science and engineering. Robotics involves design, construction, operation, and use of robots. The goal of robotics is to design machines that can help and assist humans.

Why is Arduino used in robotics?
Simply put, Arduino is a micro-controller. This small computer is used as the brain of the robot. It can be programmed to control the way buttons, motors, switches, lights, and other electronic parts work together. Arduino is hands-on, which is one of the many reasons it’s appealing to all.

Why Arduino is so popular?
So the Arduino hardware is easy, the Arduino IDE is simple, and the code itself is much easier to comprehend (than trying to program an off-the-shelf microcontroller). That’s a big part of why Arduino is so popular.
